PCD’s security starts at the moment our driver collects your equipment and continues at our secure location in Milton Keynes. Our site is manned 24-7 by security, has over 50 CCTV cameras and has been passed suitable for use by the MOD for secure storage. PCD assures it’s clients that their data is never at risk.

Core to these services is the secure data removal software utility. Our standard software product eliminates all traces of data from hard drives and is designed to comply with the U.S. Department of Defence 5220.22-M standard of overwrites to ensure complete data destruction. PCD Computer Recycling guarantees the total removal of all data as well as the removal of all identification markings including "tattoo's". If for any reason the Hard Drive cannot be accessed it is removed and physically destroyed in a shredder.

Our premium service utilises an on-site mobile shredder which is recognised worldwide as the best in the industry. This service offering allows our customers to see their own hard drives being shredded into 8mm pieces for extra reassurance.
